As expected, Computex has resulted in a leaked benchmark with Intel’s upcoming Nehalem architecture. The processor in question was a quad-core Bloomfield running at 2.66GHz on a Tylersburg X58 motherboard. Running through Futuremark’s recently relased 3D benchmark 3DMark Vantage, the Bloomfield processor scored an impressive 16,334 CPU score. That’s about 45% higher than a Core-based Yorkfield processor operating at the same frequency, says VR-Zone. It certainly looks like we’re in for a treat this winter.
