Mushkin’s products have been a bit of a pain to get a hold of if you’re not living in the USA, no matter if you’re from Scandinavia, Europe or Asia. This will change now as Mushkin has established offices in both Europe and Asia, and when we’ve been told that Scandinavia is especially interesting to Mushkin. Right now there aren’t many stores that sells Mushkin products, but that will change. We will make sure it does, and it’s not just the memories that will be appearing but the whole assortment from Mushkin. Some very good news for all of us that enjoys overclocking our components.

Mushkin also revealed its new packaging for its high-end memories for the first time at DreamHack Summer 2007. It seems that all of Mushkin’s more extreme memories will be delivered in a small wooden box from now on. This is probably to add a personal touch and perhaps a feeling of luxourity. Mushkin has been offering an overclocking warranty from day one, which is also why they have such long testing periods and the perhaps later launch dates.

We can also tell you that Mushkin has DDR3 modules coming, but unfortunately we can’t say for certain what speeds and latencies we’re dealing with.

As I said earlier, DreamHack Summer 2007 was the first event where this box was presented, it wasn’t even available for Computex earlier this month. Yours truly is one of the first to have one in his possession and I have to say that the box gives a really nice first impression.
