Mushkin has added a new kit to its lineup of Enhanced Memory (EM) modules. The EM2-6400 quad-kit runs at 800MHz and have 5-5-5 timings. There are already kits of two 1GB modules, but by introducing this kit of four 1GB modules Mushkin has been able to reduce the price of the modules even further (no exact price was specified though). The modules are expected to reach stores later this week. At the same time, Mushkin has also revealed a new packaging called SPP (Safe & Protect Packaging). The new packaging can hold up to four regular DIMM modules and two SO-DIMM modules at the same time, but also a CD/DVD. All new modules will be shipped with the SPP (for free of course).
