Mozilla has earlier not been a commercial company, but this will change now. Mozilla Foundation has namely founded Mozilla Corporation that will be the organization’s commercial section. This is mainly for handling the money it actually makes and at the same time spend them on something useful. Mozilla’s browser Firefox will still be open-source and will become a commercial product. Analysts which have commented on Mozilla’s development has been more or less strictly positive and the open-source community doesn’t seem to care all that much. Source: eWeek
