Intel has several partners on location at Intel Developer Forum in San Fransisco and one of them is component maker Gigabyte. Gigabyte has shown two of its Sandy Bridge motherboards, Gigabyte P67A-UD5 and P67A-UD7 that both houses a LGA 1155 socket and nice features.
Gigabyte has chosen an aggressive style with its two P67 motherboards and uses an all black color theme. Gigabyte P67A-UD7 is all black with gold details, while UD5 is the entry model with black and silver details.
The top model UD7 comes with 24 phase power supply and cooling that stretches over all hot components using heatpipes. Unique for the top model is a NF200 controller from NVIDIA that enables Quad SLI and 4-way CrossFireX.
Gigabyte P67A-UD5 settles for 20 phase power supply and a single Gigabit ethernet port (UD7 has two).
Other interesting functions shared by the two is SATA 6.0 Gbps support, USB 3.0 through an extra controller circuit, Power, Reset and Clear CMOS buttons, Ultra Durabel 3 Design and an extra layer copper for better cooling.
