ASRock looks to make run for the gamers before Intel’s launch of Sandy Bridge. Together with professional gamer Jonathan ”Fatal1ty” Wendell it has developed a new series of gamer motherboards where the first model is called ASRock Fatal1ty P67 Professional and comes with several nice features.

Jonathan ”Fatal1ty” Wendell have been lending his name to many component and accessory manufacturers, actually motherboard manufacturer Abit back in time. Now it’s ASRock and in an interview with TweakTown the company and Fatal1ty shared more about its first motherboard.

ASRock Fatal1ty P67 Professional has 16-phase power supply for the CPU and three PCI-Express x16 slots with CrossFireX and 3-way SLI support. The motherboard supports up to DDR3-2133 and UEFI. Othernice fucntions include SATA 6.0 Gbps, USB 3.0 and a special ”Fatal1ty USB port” that will be configurable for maximized performance (500 Hz) with a USB mouse when gaming.

Fatal1ty P67 Professional also sports THX TruStudio Pro that together with a Creative X-Fi sound processor will offer best possible sound reproduction in games, movies and other applications.

The motherboard targets gamers and enthusiasts and is set to appear in early January.
