DDR3 memory modules are not the hottest components found in modern PCs, but can still reach relatively high temperatures. Mach Xtreme has now launched a 8GB dual-channel DDR3 memory kit with models that won’t overheat easily.

The Mach Xtreme ArmorX series comes in two shapes where both memory kits build on 4GB modules sporting Mach Xtreme’s patented HDT heatpipe cooling. The memory modules are capsuled into a heatspreader with a copper heatpipe that transfers the heat to a bigger heatsink above the memory module.

A nightmare for those with large CPU coolers, but something that will most likely lower the temperatures of the modules. Mach Xtreme specifies the two of kits to 1600 MHz (CL 8-8-8-24) and 2000 MHz (CL 9-9-9-24) at 1.65V.

We know nothing of the prices, except that Mach Xtreme calls them competitive.
