Apple has been before its time at several occations in the past, among others the first with portable digital musicplayers and now it seems it will be the first with Palladium. It sure looks like it at least as support for ’TCPA’s DRM-protection, also known as Palladium, has been integrated into the new kernal for Mac OSX. This has been confirmed by people who has chosen to remain anonymous, but has been able to investiage and find a function in the kernal that uses Infineon 1.1, a chip on the mainboard, to check if any unauthorized software, or similar, is used.
