Samsung and Dell have both earlier announced laptops with enormous displays at 19″. Apparently there are those who think that 19″ is too little with a laptop since according to Znet LG Philips has a 20″ display ready to be used with portable computers. In the news article they write that there will be no problem for the computer manufacturers to introduce these enormous displays among its assortments, it’s all about being more efficient with the use of the material for the displays. At the same time they speak about the transistion to the widescreen format, something we’ve seen a big increase with on the laptop market. Already next year a majority of the laptops will have widescreen displays.
