Lenovo recalls laptop batteries, not Sony’s though

Sony has been closely associated with poor laptop batteries and the manufacturer has lost millions through the recalls of the faulty batteries. If it’s any kind of consolation, it is not the only battery manufacturer that has failed in the process of making reliable laptop batteries. The computer manufacturer Lenovo has namely recalled 205,000 ThinkPad batteries and these were made by Sanyo. The problems have been the same as with Sony’s faulty batteries; overheating and worst case scenario they could become a fire hazard. The recall was issued after that five customers reported about problems with overheating laptops.
