Noctua takes aim for the smaller formfactors where space is limited with the latest cooler NH-L12, where focus is on minimal noise and best possible cooling. The cooler is presented in a low-profile design where the use can limit the height to only 66mm.
In the package there are two fans included, 120 and 92mm, where both are PWM controlled and classic Noctua theme. The cooler is 93mm high with both fans installed, where space is a problem it can go as low as 66mm with the top fan removed.
Noctua points out that you should be careful with processors with TDPs higher than 95W if you are running with just fan, especially AMD processors at 125W TDP. Intel processors at 130W TDP will work if you have a good overall flow through the case.
Noctua NH-L12 fits all modern sockets, including Intel’s LGA 1155/1156, 1366, 775, 2011 and AMD AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, FM1. The price should land at around 50€.
