Third-party company GELID has now presented an updated model of its graphics card cooler Icy Vision. GELID Icy Vision Rev. 2 has the same base design as the precursor with five big copper heatpipes that moves the heat to a large aluminum heatsink. With a new mounting system the cooler supports Radeon HD 6800 and GeForce GTX 580.
Icy Vision has with a new copper base and 85 aluminum fins weighing 465 gram. It measures 216×95x85mm. The two-part aluminum heatsink holds two 92mm fans that beside cooling also offers some UV lighting effects.
The cooler will lover load tempatures on a GeForce GTX 480 with 19 degrees Celsius, while keeping noise at 26 dBA at most.
GELID Icy Vision Rev. 2 has a pricetag around 50€ and ships bundled with heatsinks for memories and voltage regulators.
