Kingston has launched a new series of memory modules with very low latencies; 3-3-3-10, and pretty decent frequencies; 800MHz, at 2.3-2.35V. The new modules are available at either 512MB or 1GB capacity, but also in kits of two modules. According to Kingston they will be available in stores today and the recommended prices are $69 for 512MB, a kit of 2x512MB for $138, $128 for the 1GB module and $255 for a 2GB kit. The one thing we’re wondering is what kind of overclocking potential there is. The memories have a relatively high operating voltage and low latencies, but we wouldn’t be surprised if they can be pushed rather high if you’re ready to raise the latencies a bit.
