Kinc and Crotale getting close to 12 000 with 3Dmark 06

Kinc and Crotale has continued to stress our Radeon X1900 Crossfire system and after that Kinc reached some really impressive results with his Athlon 64 FX-60 processor, that we can’t reveal for certain reasons, it was time once again to use Intel’s monster system, Intel 955XE. They focused on the new 3Dmark06 and despite a frowning processor, that has gone through some tough times with LN2, they managed to reach some really nice results. They registered the second best score in the world with 3Dmark06 and highest with an Intel based system with a score of 11944 3Dmarks.

After that they gave up since the processor did not want to play at speeds it has delievered before. They are now gathering energy to do a new attempt with perhaps even better cooling for the video cards, that so far has ”only” been cooled with water. Below is a short summarize of the system used during the tests.
