Most people who’ve ever been in contact with Linux are aware of the fact that there is more than one window manager. Two of the most popular such are KDE and Gnome and as they both compete about pretty much the same users there have arisen a certain rivalry between the users, where both grops try to claim superiority over the other by focusing on the other’s drawbacks. The Linux Advocate has taken a  closer look at this phenomena in an article they call ”KDE vs. GNOME : Why are we STILL fighting?”. Good reading, especially for those who are perhaps a bit new to the area.
