Minix is a fairly small brand, but the company behind it, J&W, is really trying to make name for itself. It has now presented MINIX 890GX-USB3, a motherboard supporting Phenom II X6 and USB 3.0 in a mini-ITX format.
The AMD 890GX chipset had a dedicated Radeon HD 4290 GPU and SATA 6.0 Gbps support through the SB850 southbridge. The motherboard supports all of AMD’s latest processors, even the most powerful hexa-core models.
We also find Gigabit Ethernet, RAID and JUC for unlocking cores (Just Unlock Core) and overclocking.
The motherboard is equipped with HDMI, DVI and D-Sub outputs and supports 1080p Blu-ray video playback.
