Intel launched its new Core Duo processor just a month ago. Yonah was the development name and can already be found inside computers by Apple. Now it seems that Intel is about to cut the prices already in a few months or be precise at the end of May. And it’s not a small cut either as it is expected to chop them by 17%-32%. Among others the high end T2600 is expected to be lowered to $432 from $632. A quite early and significant price cut, but then again not very hard to understand as about a week later, on June 6, AMD will launch its new Socket AM2 platform.
