Intel Core Duo/Solo was the final name for Intel’s new mobile processor, the first uses dual cores while the latter uses just one, as today’s Pentium M processors. Intel’s new mobile processors was announced during CES and has as you’ve seen in our reports been displayed with a number of portable computers and similar. The processor is hardly intended for the regular consumer market, which is pretty obvious as we haven’t seen any motherboards supporting the new Yonah processors. Anywho, the new mobile processors has already arrived on the consumer market in Japan, the models sighted are Core Duo T2600/T2500 and Core Solo T1300.
