Graphics card maker Inno3D has teamed up with cooling maker CoolIT to make a rarely seen version fo GeForce GTX 580. The graphics card that is one of the fastest around is a part of Inno3D’s Black Series and ships with both water block, pump and radiator.
Inno3D looks to have chosen the Omni A.L.C kit from CoolIT with a full-cover low-profile water block in a closed loop with a 120mm radiator and integrated pump. By not only covering the GPU but also the memory chips and voltage regulators the block should result in better performance and still lower temperatures than the reference cards.
Even if the reference cooler is fairly quiet the kit from CoolIT wil lower the noise significantly, while also lowering temperatures.
Inno3D is said to launch GTX 580 iChill Black Edition in December and as a complete package it will be easier to install. Price and clock frequencies remain to be revealed.
