Mobile phones is starting to intrude on PDA territory more and more with new features and functions added all the time. To meet the demands of future av mobile phones Hitachi has started to develop high resolution displays. Hitachi has namely announced that it has started mass producing its latest LCD display for mobile phones that’s not only big, 2.9″, but also truly high-res. A 800×480 pixel resolution is the display with the high resolution of today for mobiles and will make it possible to browse regular websites and of course play videos with a pretty high resolution.
Except from its impressive resolution the panel offers a contrast ratio at 400:1 and the question is with which phone we will see it first.
