Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 has for the last weeks been in our test lab and as the enthusiast board it is we’ve chosen to test it the way an enthusiast would; through overclocking and stressful use. Using Intel’s own 965P chipset it is one out of many boards on the market for Core 2 Duo platform and even Intel’s latest quad-core processors. Despite a proper list of features and functions the board is still really affordable, the question is if it’s enough to make the board an interesting alternative on this very tough market.
”You look around at several retailers, just to realize that there are more or less only boards with the 965P chipset available. Then it all takes a turn for the worse; which one of all these should you choose? We hope to find out if Gigabyte’s competitor, the GA-965P-DS3 is up to the challenge”
