We’ve earlier heard reports about NVIDIA’s graphics card GeForce 7900 GTX having problems with freezes, but also permanent damage at regular use. The cause was tracked down to the different graphics card manufacturers factory overclocks. They simply push the cards a little further to be able to offer the best possible performance, which in the end seems to result in stability issues. At HardOCP they’ve taken a look at the problems with factory overclocked GeForce 7900 cards and have received comments from both NVIDIA and the three graphics card manufacturers that ship the largest quantities of overclocked 7900 cards, BFG Tech, EVGA and XFX.
