Small preview imageGeForce 7800 GTX 512MB is as we’ve mentioned the most extreme graphic card on the market and now that NVIDIA has launched its new beast it was just a matter of time before the new performance records would be set. Marcus ’Kinc’ Hultin, which you will see much more of here at NH in the future had until yesterday the world record in all three 3DMark categories but with the launch of NVIDIA’s GeForce 7800 GTX 512MB Shamino at VR-Zone has passed Kinc in 3Dmark05. The weapon was two GeForce 7800 GTX 512MB graphic cards in SLI.

With an Athlon 64 FX-57 working at about 3.8GHz Shamino managed to score 18346 points in 3Dmark05. A very impressive score which most likely won’t stand for long though as several of the world’s best overclockers will soon get their hands on SLI systems with these monster cards. We have a really exciting winter coming up not the least considering our very own Swedish performance championship, SMPC2005.
