It wasn’t long ago when it looked like NVIDIA would launch another GS model. At Anandtech they had a GeForce 7800 GS card in their test lab and the results looked very promising. Now NVIDIA has announced that the engineering samples of 7800 GS that has circulated will not arrive as consumer products. In other words, we will have to wait for cheaper models in the GeForce 7800 series, even if they will appear they will most likely not have much in common with NVIDIA’s engineering samples of 7800 GS.
