Gateway has finally unveiled its One computer project and it is precisely what the alley stories and backstage talk have been telling us; a clean-looking PC with everything packed into a single package, including the monitor. In other words, an iMac PC equivalent. Gateway One is based on Intel’s mobile platform using the GM965 chipset and the Intel Core 2 Duo T series. The graphics depends on what you’re willing to pay. The cheapest version comes with Intel’s Graphics Media Accelerator X3100, while the more expensive models sport the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600XT with 256MB discrete memory.

Gateway has announced three different models; GZ7108, ZX190 and GZ7220. The design is very clean and there are very few things that abrupt the soft lines. All three models have the same exterior, including the 19″ widescreen monitor with a 1440×900 px resolution.

The two cheapest models sport an Intel Core 2 Duo T5250 (1.5GHz) and 2 GB RAM, while the GZ7220 comes with a Core 2 Duo T7250 (2GHz) and 3 GB RAM. It also has an Analog/Digital TV-tuner with 3-D comb.

Prices start at $1,299 and the PCs can be preordered at Best Buy;

 :: Gateway One GZ7108 $1,299
 :: Gateway One ZX190 $1,499
 :: Gateway One GZ7220 $1,799
