Gainward introduced some days ago a couple of new video cards to go under their BLISS-series. The BLISS-series features cards that in one way or another stand out from the rest, factory over clocked or other in this case a new cooling system. Now when Gainward introduced their fresh GeForce 7950GT and GeForce 7900GS cards they equipped them with a new massive looking cooling system that should outperform NVIDIA’s reference cooler. One of our forum members, Metro from ChileHardware.com has posted some really nice high resolution pictures of Gainward’s newest cards together with some really nice specifications. I believe an applause for our Chilean friend is in order!

The coolers unfortunately use a two slot-design but with a large fan like that it should be ease to cool the cards. But in the end it’s up to you if you want to sacrifice an expansion port for a card that already from the beginning runs quite cool.

If we take a peak at the specifications we see that Gainward has taken a quite interesting route. Releasing both 256 and 512MB versions of the cards, but only the 256MB models that can be found in Golden Sample editions and runs on higher frequencies. The complete specifications for the cards can be found on the bottom of this page.
