Windows XP ia about to get a sequel in the form of Windows Vista, but that doesn’t mean it is a ’dead’ operating system just because Microsoft has developed a new one. A possibility for Windows XP to live on is as a cheaper version, or perhaps even free; finansed by advertisements. XYZcomputing has taken a closer look at the possibilities for a operating system based on advertisements, but then also what is standing in the way for Microsoft before we will see a possibly free Windows.
