Firefox 1.1 Alpha 2 RC (Deer Park)

Deer Park is the developing name for the next bug update for the browser Firefox, namely Firefox 1.1. Mozilla has earlier released release candidates of its Alpha 1 version of Firefox 1.1 and now the programmers have made further progress and soon we will see the Alpha 2. Until then it has released release candidates of Deer Park Alpha 2 that is suppose to be very similar to the final Alpha 2-version. Deer Park was already a very fast browser with Alpha 1 RC and the trend continues with Alpha 2 RC.

Among others they have activated a function called ”Fastback” that will make the back/forward function much faster.

”Also, after a round of successful testing and debugging during the first Deer Park alpha, we’re enabling the Fastback feature. With this feature enabled where before the browser needed to re-render each page from a local cache of documents, now you will see a dramatic speed improvement when you click the back and forward buttons to navigate between recently viewed web pages.”
