DFI doesn’t seem especially scared that the competition would steal its ideas for coming products. We have earlier published information and pictures of two of DFI’s Intel P55 motherboards, DFI LANParty UT P55 and DFI LANParty DK P55 T3eH6. Now that Computex is coming it has revealed even more on the two mentioned boards as TweakTown was allowed to stroll through the headquarter corridors.

The motherboards both use the single-chip solution Intel P55 Express (Ibex Peak) and supports Intel’s coming LGA1156 processors. The new Core i5 family will include several models, including the quad-core Lynnfield that is expected to appear near the end of the third quarter.

The differences between DFI’s two P55 are several. The UT model is the high-end model with digital PWM circuits for the power supply. Earlier information also mentioned an extreme chipset cooling in the form of DFI’s own Flame Freezer cooling. But the prototypes TweakTown looked at had simpler heatsinks for the P55 chip.

Here are some pictures of the two boards, more can be found at TweakTown.com.
