DFI just announced its X48 sporting the usual kind of jaw-dropping goodies and drool-engaging features we’ve grown to expect from DFI, but around the corner is there’s another high-end board for Intel’s platform, DFI LANParty UT NF790I SLI-T3R. This one’s based on the soon to be announced NVIDIA nForce 790i chipset, and by the looks of it, DFI is aiming to have both red and green benchers using its boards. nForce 790i benchmarks was released just recently, and if DFI delivers, it looks like DFI will have distinct and attractive motherboards for both platforms at the same time.

The people over at OCWorkbench has acquired a picture of the upcoming DFI LANParty UT NF790I SLI-T3R and with it, a list of specifications. Overall the list isn’t extraordinary, on the count on that it’s DFI we’re dealig with, but eight-phase PWM and 3-way SLI support should be enough to keep people happy, along with DFI’s normal tweaks.

Both the X48 and nForce 790i boards should be available on display at CeBIT.
