Dell has revealed another small but still exciting detail to its super-superthin Adamo XPS notebooks. The last couple of pictures confused us as to how the computer opens. Exactly how the design works in practice is uncertain, but Dell has now revealed how the display unfolds, through a simple motion of the finger. Dell has installed a heat sensitive strip on the lip of the computer, that when you move the finger across it, lits up and automatically opens the aluminum lid.

A pretty excessive function that once again indicates that this is a niche product with a price tag thicker than the computer itself. Dell confirms that Adamo XPS will not be a volume product and with a price of $2,000 it is designed to show what the company is capable of.
