The DDR2 manufacturers will most likely try to improve their financial reports for this year by introducing several new products. This would in turn bring that PC builders would be able to keep the prices of the introduction models down. According to a marketing survey by InSpectrum this would mean that 512Mbit DDR2 533 chips would become about 10% cheaper during the first half of December. It also expects that DDR400 chips will go down with about 6% during the same period.
