Creative’s latest media player is called ZEN X-Fi2 and like many other it is a touch device capable of both video and music playback. The player that appeared in stores about a month ago has potential but the user interface dragged down the overall impression. Creative decided to fix this as fast as possible and it has now released a new firmware for the player that improves responsiveness of the touch screen and an overall nicer look.
The new firmware is available for download and brings a more colorful interface, autorotation of pictures, and ZEN X-Fi2 has been given its first game in the form of Sudoko. According to Creative there will be more and it will be releasing both applications and games in the future.

– Colored icons & Theme
– Auto rotation of photos when you turn the player Landscape or Portrait
– Includes a game: Sudoko (more applications and games to add-on in future)
– Improved touch screen responsiveness
– Improved power-on sequence (same as ZEN MX & EZ ) to prevent unintended power on/off player.
