Coolaler first to go below 10 seconds with SuperPi 1M – NH next?

The Taiwanese overclocker Coolaler was the first to go below 10 seconds with the performance test SuperPi 1M and it is truly a historical achievement which was made possible by bringing Intel’s Core 2 Extreme X6800 processor to magnificent 5.26GHz. Coolaler increased the processor’s multiplier to 13x and could so work with a much more humane processor bus which in turn made it possible to reach even higher frequencies with the processor. Our own OC guru Marcus ”Kinc” Hultin has been waiting for a dedicated BIOS from ASUS that would unlock the multipliers with ASUS’ P5W HD Deluxe motherboard, to be able to reach 10 seconds with SuperPi. Unfortunately the BIOS didn’t reach him in time, but hopefully NH and Kinc could be one of the first (second?) to go below 10 seconds the following days.
