Cisco has decided to grant Apple another week to come up with a response to the accusations of patent infringements. Apple now has up until Wednesday to deliver a reply. Apple presented its mobile phone iPhone last month, despite the fact that Cisco has had the name iPhone in its possession since 2000, but haven’t used the name until recently when its subsidiary LinkSys launched a VoIP phone with the same name. Right about then it was just about to lose its registered brand and many discussions have been about whether Cisco forged a product to keep the name. We’re eagerly waiting for Apple’s response.
