Chieftec Nitro will arrive in store by the end of June, and the series is intended to appeal to consumers of all budgets. With capacities ranging from 350 watt up to 1,200 watt there will be a model for everyone.
Chiectec has also worked up the efficiency of the new power supplies and all models of the Nitro series are at least 80 Plus Bronze certified, which is equivalent to 85%+. It also has a 950 watt model branded 80 Plus Silver.
Nitro comes in two different shapes, with cables attached, or modular cables. The former will be available in four capacities, 350 watt, 400 watt, 450 watt, and 500 watt.
The modular Nitro series starts at 550 watt and will be available in increments of 100 watt; 650 watt, 750 watt, 850 watt, 950 watt and 1,200 watt. All supporting SLI and CrossFire with two 12V rails.
