Cooler Master has decided to unveil the successor to the praised case Cosmos, with the aero-inspired design and special carry handles. With a matte black finish and brushed aluminum Cooler Master Cosmos 2 is an anticipated sucessor.
The case is made from aluminum and steel with details in plastic and it is large enough to fit all kinds of components including motherboard formats XL-ATX, SSI CEB and SSI EEB. Graphics cards up to 385mm long and coolers up to 190mm high are also supported. It is crammed with fucntions including prepared for water cooling and up to 13 harddrives.
Those who are looking for optimal cooling may want to look closer here as it can handle up to 10 fans and all can be controlled via the built-in fan controller with four modes. The front panel also has two USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, microphone and headphone jack and eSATA.
Cooler Master takes aim for the demanding enthusiasts with the launch of Cosmos 2 where it brings plenty of space and cooling potential. If this and the broad functionality motivates the prices of 340€ remains to be seen.
