På Planet Black&White kan man läsa inlägg som påpekar att vissa problem skulle kunna uppstå när man kör Black & White. Ett av inläggen påpekar att EA‘s tekniksupportsite inte är till någon vidare hjälp och därför har de startat en egen supportsite; B&W Support Site där allehanda felrapporter och andra problem tas om hand.
Vidare stod ytterligare ett intressant inlägg att finna där det påstods att EA skulle ha skickat ut spelexemplar innehållande beta-kod istället för final-koden. Detta visade sig dock vara endast ett rykte.
”There seems to have been a rumour spread about that EA shipped a beta version of the game instead of the final GOLD version. This is not the case. The versions on sale are the final GOLD version.
