Bill Gates is expected to have an open discussion on MicroSoft’s Lonhorn during WinHEC this week. Appearantly the focus will be Longhorn’s renowned GUI (Graphical User Interface). Microsoft has planned to introduce a new graphical interface with Longhorn that is suppose to be easier to grasp and make it easier to use a windows-based computer, and at the same look nicer. Now it seems that Microsoft wants to grab our attention already 1.5 years before the launch of Longhorn, which can just be a cheap shot at taking focus from Apple’s launch of its new operating system Tiger next week.
