Atom D510 is one of the most energy efficient processors on the market and not exactly famous for great performance. GeForce GTX 480 is the fastest single-GPU graphics card on the market and widely known for its extreme power consumption. At Donanimhaber they felt the need to combine them.

In a short video review of the mini-DTX motherboard Zotac NM10-DTX WiFi they decided to equip the board with Nvidia’s graphics card flagship for an, though unrealistic, interesting combination.

The result was a 3DMark Vantage Performance score of 6 707 points, which you can compare to the 19 583 points we got when we used the same card and Intel’s hexa-core Core i7 980X CPU.

We neither believe nor hope that anyone will actually buy an Atom system and combine it with Fermi, but those who are wondering about it can now see the results of such a combination.
