RS700 will be one of the first integrated chipsets sporting a graphics circuit capable of DirectX 10 instructions and even if we are still awaiting the interesting RS600 chipset with the Radeon X700 graphics circuit and HDCP support we can’t help looking ahead at the sequel; RS700. RS700 will use a unified shader architecture and support DirectX 10 and Shader Model 4.0. Except from that the integrated circuit will be capable of decoding high-res video signals for both HD DVD and Blu-ray which tends for some really nice Media Center properties. RS700 will be made with 65nm technology and be available in middle of 2007.

RS600 is expected to arrive already in August of this year so even if RS700 might look really hot it is almost a year away.
