ATI has now released two new TV cards capable of handling HDTV together with its new Catalyst Media Center. TV Wonder 650 comes with ATI’s AVIVO technology and everything that brings. The card makes it possible to save HD video in various formats (DivX, H.264, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, WMV9) at a price of $129. TV Wonder 200 is in turn a simpler version without all the fuss such as filters for improved image quality, but will also be a lot cheaper: $59. Catalyst Media Center will in turn support stopping, pausing and rewinding live TV, Picture-in-Picture (requires two cards) and much, much more.
