Radeon X1900 XL is a logical move by ATI to complete its video card series. We earlier saw how X1800 XL fought for ATI in the mid-range segment and now it seems a similar circuits will arrive based on ATI’s X1900 circuit. ATI has managed to reach such a high level of efficiency that it is planning not one but two new R580 based cards. Except from Radeon X1900 XL that is expected to become a challenger for GeForce 7900 GT it is working on X1900 GTO which most likely will compete with GeForce 7600 GT. There are no detailed specifications for any of the cards and this is of course not official, but that ATI is working on new R580 based cards is hardly surprising. Source: The Inquirer
