X1900 has finally arrived. The rumours have been many and far from positive at all times. Unfortunately our samples were delayed and arrived first yesterday which made it impossible for us to complete any review in time, but we will on the other hand try to accomplish some things no one else has so far so hang tight. When it comes to X1900 many thought that it would not be able to go all the distance with 7800GTX512, but perhaps we should thank some higher source that that wasn’t true. Even if the reviews available today gets a bit varying results it is pretty obvious that X1900 is not here to gently place itself behind NVIDIA’s 7800GTX512 without doing much, but this is truly not the case since this is a direct competitor. The battle has just begun and we are seeing pixels flying all over place.
We also see in a review over at TrustedReviews where X1900 CrossFire gets a chance to stand up against the best possible opposition: 7800GTX512 in SLI and it actually comes out on top. Very impressive by ATI and X1900.
