ASUS has as you know by
now developed a new graphic card with dual GeForce 6800-circuits, but we’ve seen
as little of the actual card as we have of the specifications. Now it seems ASUS
has decided not to release its dual GeForce 6800-card to stores, which isn’t all
that surprising today. But it hasn’t given up on the concept of dual graphic
circuits, according to X-bit Labs it has namely plans for a similar card but
based on the new 7800-circuits. Considering that 7800 GTX performs better than
6800 Ultra and at the same time requires less power there are several reasons to
go for nVidia’s latest creation instead. If ASUS comes through this time remains
to see, but all and all it looks promising.
