ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 hasn’t been officially announced by AMD, but the first mobile DirectX 11 graphics circuit has already appeared in a notebook from ASUS. ASUS G73JH-A1 is a real heavyweight (3,85kg) shipping with 17.3″ LCD, Intel Core i7 CPU, and up to 8GB RAM and two harddrives, either mechanical or SSD. For the complete multimedia experience you can add a en Blu-ray player.

The computer is built for gaming and High Definition video format, which makes AMD’s coming Mobility Radeon HD 5870 a highly suitable choice of graphics card.

Even if the performance of the mobile version of Radeon HD 5870 won’t be on par with bigger brother in the desktop segment we would still be surprised if it doesn’t become the market’s fastest mobile graphics circuit, whenever AMD will decide to launch the circuit for real.

ASUS G73JH-A1 costs around $1,600, which includes a copy of Windows 7 Home Premium, 8-cell battery and integrated surround speakers from Altec Lansing.
