ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1201PN will be one of the first netbooks to use NVIDIA’s latest generation of Ion. As previously revealed Ion 2 isn’t much more than a dedicated graphics circuit, but with Intel’s limited graphical capacity there is plenty of room for NVIDIA to bless gamers and video enthusiasts. ASUS Eee PC 1201N is a 12.1″ netbook that beside 1366×768 pixel resolution sports an Intel Atom N450 CPU and 2GB RAM.

ASUS has equipped the computer with HDMI output and virtual 5.1 channel SRS Premium audio, which supports up to 7.1 channels to an external receiver through the HDMI output.

ASUS bundles ArcSoft TotalMedia Theater and brings 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth V2.1, 0,3 megapixel web camera, 250GB harddrive and 6 hour battery time.
