The new budget system Eee PC from ASUS has done quite well so far and it seems that ASUS has some far out plans for the tiny being. Eee PC is more or less a cheap alternative to the more expensive ultra-mobile PCs, and a bit like the OLPC of the retail PC market. Sporting a 7″ monitor and an 8 GB harddrive, Eee PC is no regular PC, but the very low price should open up new doors ASUS believes. According to the manufacturer self, it’s actually feasible that every fifth computer sold in 2010 will be an Eee PC.
