Apple hasn’t always been the underdog it is today, despite what many may believe. The fact is that in beginning of the eighties it had the most popular computer among all home computers: Apple II, and later on also the Macintosh. This went on for quite a while but then IBM decided to enter and we all know what that gave us: the PC. Sowly the PC started to take over the market and finally, more or less, completely among home users. Anyhow, BigBruin has now published a condensed version of Apple’s history and the article covers all computers of interest, including the rumored Lisa.
