Apple MacBook has now been officially launched by Apple and it is really starting to clean up among the older assortment. Apple launched its MacBook Pro early on as a very high performance laptop, but for those who were used to smaller and cheaper portable Macs there were only PowerPC-based models available, until now. Many has therefore been waiting for MacBook, which is expected to be a more convenient and cheaper model for those who wants to carry their Mac along. MacBook really is more convenient than its bigger brother, MacBook Pro, and Apple has decided to use a 13″ LCD display compared to the 15″/17″ with MacBook Pro. The 13″ display has a widescreen resolution at 1280×800 pixels.

This also made it possible to shrink the overall size of MacBook, except from the height as it is actually a bit thicker than the Pro model.
